So welcome to my spot on the web.  No really, I'm glad you found it!  You'll find all kinds of random bits here.  I also like to share things I've discovered or learned recently as I consider a day that passes without learning something new as a wasted day.  And, you'll probably see some witticisms or random humor pop up from time to time as the mood strikes me.  Probably more sarcastic, dry and biting than the common-of-late fare of low-brow inane comedy out there, but you might find some of it funny.  Maybe.  No promises or guarantees.

I'm a Texan by birth and upbringing, now a transplant in the Deep South - and hating it.  I dream of beaches, water, sun - the West Coast or Miami will be my next destination.  I write software professionally (currently focusing on Drupal using PHP and MySQL), am degreed as a financial analyst, and strive to be a polymath.  Not to be confused with polynomials or mathematics.  But I digress...

Basically this is my form of personal therapy that doesn't involve someone charging large sums of money to say, "Mmmm, that's interesting - how does that make you feel?" every five minutes, punching bags (too many cracked knuckles in the past), drugs or too much liquor...
